One Chatsworth alumnus, Alan Baltz, believes we need a new library. He believes in our project so much that he has sent us a $15,000 donation. He challenges all other Chatsworth alumni and residents to join him in working toward the building of our new library. He is challenging everyone to match, beat or simply contribute to the building fund.
Our voting has dropped off dramatically. We can get back in the top ten. Mr. Baltz is voting. We can too. Let us make a concerted effort to spend an extra ten minutes each day to get us back to the top.
Starting Thursday, January 11 and continuing each Thursday until the contest ends we will have a voting marathon at the library. We will be a Wi-Fi hot spot, so bring your smart phone, iPod, laptops, etc. We also will have 8 library computers available---let's all come to the library and have a "voting party" each Thursday night from 5 - 10. Snacks and drinks will be available each week. (If you can't come to the library, join us by voting from home,) Together we can gain back what we have lost. Let's see how much we can gain each day. Let's do this to show Alan that we care about Chatsworth and the library as much as he does. |
